Alison Swierczynski

Alison Swierczynski is currently a senior in high school at Thayer Academy in Braintree, Massachusetts. She is Co-Founder and Co-President of the Women in STEM Society at her high school, which empowers and informs young girls to follow their passions in the STEM fields. This past summer, she interned as a research trainee at the LaVoie Lab at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, where they researched sporadic Parkinson’s Disease. Additionally, Alison volunteers at a local gym for Parkinson’s patients who are working to slow down the development of their disease.
